This project is a blend. My streetscapes are portraits. Nature and development. Transportation and people in transit. From a desolate town in the Gobi Desert to dense jungle of Manhattan, this shooting is where I feel at home. I love finding beauty in all that is possible in cities. People going about their everyday lives. Silent streets devoid of footsteps. Fleeting glimpses of everything in between. Life is complicated. Messy. Frenetic. Old always crashing into new. That’s street shooting to me. Capturing the special in the mundane. The theme here is change. Keep moving.
If we are always arriving and departing, it is also true that we are eternally anchored. One’s destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things.”
