51st and Lexington

New York City, New York

One of the shots from an all-too-brief (work) trip to New York. Taken shortly after a rainstorm, just outside my hotel. This is an HDR composite of 7 shots.

Fine “crick in the neck” cityscape. I enjoy HDR myself.

Thanks everyone, for checking out the site and for your comments. As a new blogger, it’s great to see people out there.

The Tokina 12-24 has quickly become the lens most likely to be found on my camera, especially in the city.

And HDR is one of my favourite parts of shooting digital. It’s definitely a double-edged sword, but I try to stick to the more realistic side of postprocessing. Although that may be because I’m not especially great at Photoshop 🙂
